Case Financial Tab (Registry Transactions)
All the registry accounts that have been added for a specific case party can be viewed from the registry Transactions view of the case Financial tab.
All the transactions entered for the selected registry account are displayed. Select a type of registry account that involves investments (e.g., trust accounts) and the investment transactions display as well.
Click a specific transaction to view more detailed information.
Financial Tab Options
Option Description
Print Transactions (ALT+P) Click to print a detailed report of registry and trust transactions. This report helps you perform the following tasks:
•  Track partial deposits and withdrawals.
•  Conduct bank reconciliation research.
•  Provide information for attorney and/or customer inquiry.
•  Verify the registry is zeroed out.
•  Verify that no transactions exist on a registry account past the initial registry setup.
View Summary (ALT+V) If displayed, click to return to the Summary view of the Financial tab.
Print Detail (ALT+P) Click to display the case fee balance information in a printable format.
Account Type
The account type is displayed, along with basic account information like the beneficiary's name and taxpayer ID (usually the beneficiary's social security number), the payor's name, the expected disbursement date, and any orders from the court. The current account balances are also displayed.
The following options are available in this section.

Image Click to select a document and print a financial form.
Edit Account Click to edit the details for the account.
View Accounts Click to access the Accounts view of the Financial tab.
Uninvested
The Uninvested section displays the transactions for a registry account.
There are two types of registry checks that can display under the Uninvested header: checks to parties (disbursements) and checks to investment accounts (investments). Checks to investments are also displayed below the appropriate investment account in the Invested section.
There are also two types of registry deposits that can be displayed under the Uninvested header: deposits from parties and deposits from investments. Deposits from investment accounts are also displayed below the appropriate investment account in the Invested section.
The following options are available in this section.
Option Description
Image/Image If you have selected a trust account that has investments and you are only interested in viewing the investments, click Image to collapse the Uninvested section.
Click to Image expand the section.
Convert Click to convert a cash bond to case fees.
Image Click to create a single disbursement check. This option cannot be selected if there is no money in escrow to be disbursed.
Image Click to post adjustments to the registry account. If there are no charges for the selected party, this icon is disabled.
Image Click to add an invoice. If there are no accounts on the case, this icon is disabled.
Image Click to post a registry account deposit for the selected party. If there are no accounts on the case, this icon is disabled.
Invested
The Invested section contains all of the investment transactions. This section is only visible if you select a registry account that involves investments and you have the right to manage investments.
Each investment in the table has a summary row, which you can click to expand the investment and view the investment transactions. The checks to investments and deposits from investment accounts are displayed with the appropriate investments.
The following options are available in this section.
Option Description
Sort By The investments are always displayed using the selected sort order until a new sort order is selected. Select one of the following options:
•  Select Bank to sort investments alphabetically by the name of the bank where the money is invested.
•  Select Maturity Date to sort investments chronologically by the investment’s maturity date.
•  Select Type of Investment to group the same type of investments together. The groups are listed alphabetically, and the investments are sorted within each group according to the maturity date.
Show Indicate which investments you want to view for the selected account. Select one of the following options:
•  Select All Investments to see all the investments for the selected account.
•  Select Active Investments to view only active investments. An active investment is any investment with a balance greater than zero.
•  Select Inactive Investments to see investments that have become inactive. An inactive investment is any investment with a balance less than or equal to zero.
Image Click to select a document and print a financial form.
Edit Investment Click to modify the investment account fields.
Image Click to create a single disbursement check. This option cannot be selected if there is no money in escrow to be disbursed.
Image Click to enter interest payments, bank charges, and external deposits into the investment account. The option selected in the resulting Type field determines the fields displayed.

Image/Image Use these icons to expand and collapse the account information on the right side of the table.
Right-click Options
Right-click Option Description
Void Transaction Right-click a transaction and select this option to void the transaction. Transactions may be voided as long as the till they are originally included in remains open and in use. After a till is closed and it is included in a deposit, voids may not be posted. Voided transactions are listed in red parenthesis within their respective columns.
This option is displayed depending on user rights and the type of transaction.
Reverse Transaction Right-click a transaction and select this option to reverse the effects of the original transaction. For example, reverse a voided payment transaction and the money is re-applied to the open till. Reversals are listed in red parenthesis within their respective columns.
This option is displayed depending on user rights and the type of transaction.
Delete Available if deposits have not been posted to an account. This deletes the account from the case.
