A collection status is used to track cases referred to a collection agency and indicates whether a party's case fees, fines,
or payment plans have been sent to collections. The collection status information is available throughout Odyssey wherever
financial information is displayed for a case, party, or payment plan.
If a payment plan is set up for a party on the case, a
Payment Plan link is displayed on the
Financial tab beside the party name. Click this link to

This first column lists the financial categories that are available for the case as well as the names of the case parties.
This information may be grouped by party type or financial category.
Sections of financial information can be expanded and collapsed individually. Click to expand a section of information or to collapse a section.

additional financial details for that party.
Under the defendant's name, any fines, fees or trusts that were entered in the Fine field on the Add a New Citation page are displayed as Case Fines and Fees.
Depending on the financial category, one of the following Financial tab views is displayed when you click a link in this column:
|

Sharing Financial Data with a Supervision Department
If your site has both Case Manager and Supervision, you may see additional financial categories on the case records Financial tab. Both products have the same structure for tracking case fees and can assess/collect fees, depending on the business
process for both offices.
In order to see fees in either product center, you must have the right to view financial data for that product center. If
you have the right to view financial data in both product centers, then you will see a combination of financial categories
for both product centers. If you only have the right to view financial data in one product center, then only that product
center's financial categories display.
A scales icon (

) displays to the left of a financial category if it is NOT in the product center that you are currently logged into. The
icon indicates that it is a financial category that is showing through to your product center.
Clicking the link will take you into the financial information for that financial category and into that product center, regardless
of which product center you started from. Again you must have the appropriate rights in that product center in order to perform
further financial functions, such as
assessing a charge,
taking a payment, and
voiding a payment.
