Case Financial Tab (Registry Accounts)
The registry Accounts view of the case Financial tab shows basic information about each registry account that is added for the selected party, including the account type, the beneficiary's name and taxpayer ID, and the account balance.
Financial Tab Options
Option Description
View Summary (ALT+V) If displayed, click to return to the Summary view of the Financial tab.
Print Detail (ALT+P) Click to display the case fee balance information in a printable format.
Accounts Table
Column Description
Trust Type The type of trust the account is.
On Behalf Of The case party or non-case party who is the beneficiary of the account.
Taxpayer ID# The beneficiary’s Social Security Number or Employer Identification Number (EIN).
Balance The balance currently available on the account.
Balances Table Options
Option Description
Image Click to select a document and print a financial form.
Edit Account Click to edit the details for the account.
View Transactions Click to access the Transactions view of the Financial tab.
Convert Click to convert a cash bond to case fees.
Image Click to add an invoice. If there are no accounts on the case, this icon is disabled.
Image Click to post a registry account deposit for the selected party. If there are no accounts on the case, this icon is disabled.
Image Click to add an account.
Right-click Options
Right-click Option Description
Edit Account Use this option to edit the account detail.
Enter Deposit Available if an account is created. Select this option to add a deposit.
Convert Displayed if the account is a bond account whose bond type is designated a cash bond and the account has not been converted. This option converts a cash bond account to case fees via the Convert [registry account type] dialog box.
View Conversion Displayed if the account is converted. Select to view the cash bond conversion. This is the only place where the details of the bond conversion are viewed.
Delete Available if deposits have not been posted to an account. This deletes the account from the case.
