Add Attorney |
Adding an attorney to a specified connection type for a list of cases allows you to assign public defenders to parties that
do not have attorneys assigned. Odyssey adds an attorney to the necessary cases if the selected party type remains active
on the cases and if the selected party type does not already have an attorney.

Assess Case Fees and Fines |
This action assesses the selected fee schedule to the selected party type on each case in the list. The action can only be
performed on one case category at a time, as fee schedules are defined by case category. If there is more than one type of
case category in the list, the list may have to be processed more than once. The list of fee schedules is filtered once a
case category is selected. All extended party connection types available to the selected case category are presented in the
Assess to First field. The fees are assessed to the first party of the selected connection type.

Batch Print Case Labels |
Print a case label based on the selected label configuration for each name in the list from which the action is launched.
Case labels print based on the sort order of the list.
When no label extract format exists for a specific case type in a case category, the label does not print. The case number
and reason are displayed on the Incomplete Print Case Labels dialog box once the action has completed. This type of error
does not terminate the batch printing.

Case Reassign Judge |
This action lets a you reassign a case to a new judge.

This action lets a you reassign a case to a new judicial officer and location.

Case Reassign Location |
This action lets you reassign cases to a new location.

Cash Bond Conversion |
This action looks at all of a party's cases with positive case fees, which works on a case-by-case basis. Any disbursements
owed to a party are done outside of this process. Odyssey provides a list of cases in which the party has a positive registry
account after the action is performed. The case is then listed with the following message: “Positive Registry Balance.” This
message is viewable on the Job Detail dialog box from the Job History page. To retrieve the list of cases that failed to update, a list name must be entered. If the case has multiple bond accounts,
the conversion cannot take place, and that case is then placed on the list of cases that failed.

Create FTA Cases |
This action creates criminal cases that have the same parties but have failure-to-appear offenses. With this action, you can
create only one case per unique citation number per defendant.

Expunge Cases |
This action expunges the cases in the list. |
Party Address Export |
This action generates a list of party addresses on case lists.

Generate Criminal Case Warrants |
This action creates a criminal case warrant for each case in the list you selected in List Manager.

Pay/Appear Past Due Batch Notices |
This action lets you print case forms past due notices to parties.

Print Case Form |
With this action, you can print case forms based on the necessary form for each item in the list you selected in List Manager.

Print Case Summaries |
This action prints the case summaries for the list of cases created. |
Reassign Judicial Officer and Hearing |
You can reassign a judicial officer and hearings through this action.

Schedule Hearings |
This action finds court sessions and adds hearings to cases, adds cases to sessions that may be full, and adds a hearing type
to a court session that does not include that hearing type.

Update Cases |
This action updates cases based on the necessary information for the list you selected in List Manager, add a case status
to each case in the list, add a statistical closure to each case in the list, add an event to each case in the list for every
event in the Events section, or add a judgment event to each case in the list.

Update Dispositions |
This action updates and amends dispositions on a list of cases if you have the appropriate rights.

View Next Hearing Date |
This action generates a report that is sorted in the same order as selected in the sort drop-down list on the List Manager
page and includes the case number, judicial officer, style, hearing date and time, hearing type, and session. Columns appear
on the report even if they do not contain information. If a case does not have a future setting scheduled, then the report
does not display anything.
