Action – Update Exhibit Fields
The following fields are available when performing the Update Exhibit action in List Manager.
Exhibit Details
Field Name Field Description
Add Status Select this option if you are updating the exhibit with a new status.
Status From the drop-down list, select a new status.
Date Enter the date when the status should be added.
Comment Type notes or comments related to the record. Click Image for additional space. Click Image to check the spelling of the text entered.
Update Details Select this check box if you are updating the exhibit details.
Projected Return Enter the date when the exhibit should be returned.
Projected Destruction Enter the date when the exhibit should be destroyed.
Custody Details
Use this section to add details of an exhibits custody such as weather it is being checked in, checked out, or destroyed..
Field Name Field Description
Add Custody Select this check box if you are adding custody details for the exhibit.
Date Enter the date when the custody details are added.
Time Type the time when the custody details are added.
Authorized By From the drop-down list, select the person who authorized the custody update.
Comment Type notes or comments related to the record. Click Image for additional space. Click Image to check the spelling of the text entered.
Check In Details
Use this section if you want to add details related to an exhibit being in the custody of the court.
Field Name Field Description
Exhibit is in the custody of Select this option, then click Image to select the court and location that has custody of the exhibit.
After you select a court, you are required to select the physical location of the exhibit within the selected court (for example, exhibit room). Enter the appropriate location code or click the arrow to view a list of locations. Press F4 to search for and select a location
Check Out Details
Use this section to add details related to the exhibit being in the custody of a party, and select the second option. You can indicate whether the exhibit is in the custody of a case party, a non-case party, or an agency.
Field Name Field Description
Exhibit is in the custody of Select this option, select the party who has custody of the exhibit.
If the exhibit is in the custody of a case party, click Image to access the Select a Case Party dialog box and select the party who has custody of the exhibit.
If a non-case party has custody of the exhibit, enter the party's name in the space provided. Click the Contact Info button (ALT+I) to enter party contact information such as an address or phone number.
If the exhibit is in the custody of an agency, enter the appropriate agency code or click the arrow to view a list of agencies. Press F4 to search for and select an agency.
Exhibit Must Be Returned By Select this check box to enter a date and time when the exhibit must be returned.
Destruction Details
Use this section to add details related to a destroyed exhibit.
Field Name Field Description
Exhibit has been destroyed Select this option to indicate the exhibit has been destroyed.
Destroyed by this Select this check box to indicate which party destroyed the exhibit.
If the exhibit was destroyed by a case party, click Image to access the Select a Case Party dialog box and select the party who destroyed the exhibit.
If a non-case party destroyed the exhibit, enter the party's name in the space provided. Click the Contact Info button (ALT+I) to enter party contact information such as an address or phone number.
If the exhibit was destroyed by an agency, enter the appropriate agency code or click the arrow to view a list of agencies. Press F4 to search for and select an agency.
If a court destroyed the exhibit, click Image to access the list of courts and select the location that destroyed the exhibit.
