View My Current Till
In order to post and work with transactions, you must be associated with an open till. Odyssey provides a way to view all the transactions associated with the till instance you are currently signed on to.
Transactions
The following information is displayed for each transaction.
Option Description
Date The date of the transaction is displayed along with an audit ID for that transaction.
Receipt Number The receipt number associated with the transaction is displayed.
Payor The name of the person who made the payment or deposit is displayed.
Case Number If the transaction is associated with a case fee or registry deposit, the case number is displayed. Click the case number to access the Summary view of the case Financial tab.
If the transaction is associated with multiple cases, a Multiple Cases link is displayed here. Click the link to select the case to view.
Booking Number In Jail Manager, the booking number is displayed. If the transaction is associated with a case fee or registry deposit, the case number is displayed. Click the case number to access the Accounts tab on the jailing.
Amount This column displays the total amount of the transaction. If the amount was voided or reversed, the number is displayed in parentheses.
Transaction Options
The following options are available on this page.
Option Description
View Select the types of transactions to view. The following options are available:
•  Select All Fees to view all transactions for case fees, miscellaneous fees, and registry deposits.
•  Select Case Fees to view only transactions associated with case fees.
•  Select Miscellaneous Fees to view only transactions associated with miscellaneous fees, which are not linked to a particular case.
•  Select Registry Fees to view only transactions associated with registry deposits.
Sort By Use the following options to determine the sort order of the transactions:
•  Select Receipt Number to sort numerically with the lowest receipt number displaying first.
•  Select Receipt Number, Descending to sort numerically with the highest receipt number displaying first.
•  Select Date to display transactions with the earliest date listed first.
•  Select Date, Descending to view transactions with the most recent date listed first.
•  Select Audit ID if you want transactions listed numerically by the audit ID. The lowest audit ID is listed first.
•  Select Audit ID, Descending to display transactions with the highest audit ID first.
Scan Multiple (ALT+S) If your jurisdiction uses invoices, click to scan and pay multiple invoices.
Enter a Miscellaneous Payment (ALT+M) Click to post a miscellaneous payment.
Invoice Type an invoice number and click Image to post a payment for that invoice.
Image Click this icon to print all receipts for the current search criteria.
View Totals (ALT+V) Click to view the individual tender method totals for the till.
Previous (ALT+P) Click this option to view the previous page of the search results.
Next (ALT+N) Click this button to view the next page of the search results.
Right-click Options
Right-click Option Description
Void Transaction Right-click a transaction and select this option to void the transaction. Transactions may be voided as long as the till they are originally included in remains open and in use. After a till is closed and it is included in a deposit, voids may not be posted. Voided transactions are listed in red parenthesis within their respective columns.
This option is displayed depending on user rights and the type of transaction.
Reverse Transaction Right-click a transaction and select this option to reverse the effects of the original transaction. For example, reverse a voided payment transaction and the money is re-applied to the open till. Reversals are listed in red parenthesis within their respective columns.
