Update Priority |
When a job is sent to the queue, it may have been assigned a priority. If the job has a status of "hold" or "pending," you
can use the Update Priority option to change the order in which the job will be processed.
|
Hold |
Use this option to place a temporary stop on a job that is pending. A held job is still listed on the Job Queue page, but it will not be run until it is released. After a job is placed on hold, is displayed in the Status column of the job table.
|
Release |
This option is only available when a job is placed on hold (i.e., has in the Status column). Click it to release a job that has been held. This allows the job to be picked up by a server and processed.
|
Cancel |
If you do not want a job to run anymore, select this option. The job will then stop when it reaches a break in the processing.
This is the recommended way to stop jobs in the queue.
|
View Parameters |
If the system used additional dialog boxes and other options when processing the job, this link is available. Click it to
access the View Job Parameters dialog box.
|
View Messages |
Jobs can have several types of messages attached to them. An error does not have to occur when the job was processed for messages
to be attached. Select this option to access the View Job Messages dialog box.
