When a job is sent to the queue, it may have been assigned a priority.
If the job has a status of “hold” or “pending,” you can use the
Update Priority option on the
Job Details dialog box to change the order in which the job will be processed. You can also right-click a job from the
Job Queue page and select
Update Priority.
When you select this option, the Update Priority dialog box is displayed. Type the updated priority in the New Priority field on this dialog box. This number can be anywhere from 0 to 99 with 0 being the highest priority.
When you have finished entering the new priority, click Save (ALT+S).
Note: Updating a job's priority does not affect how fast the job runs; it only affects the order in which jobs start. For
example, if four jobs are waiting to be processed, the priority number determines which one starts next.
