Financial Groups
You can group together fee codes and fee schedules as well as add multiple financial groups to cases. This functionality allows all of the fee schedules to be maintained as a single entity, and it also lets you provide receipts that include fee detail.
After financial groups are enabled, you can have multiple judgments on a case. Each group of fees has its own interest rate and interest start date.
Select a financial category on the Summary view of the Financial tab, and click the Financial Group button to access the Financial Groups dialog box. This dialog box opens only if a financial group exists on the case.
Pay Off Detail
The Pay Off Detail section calculates the balance of all financial groups, including any interest. Enter the date when the payment is accepted. The date must be the current date or a date in the future. After you leave the As Of field, the balance is displayed next to the Balance Due field.
