Maintaining Financial Groups
You can add multiple financial groups and see the interest rates and balances for each group. Any modifications made to the Add/Modify Financial Group dialog box are made to all cases that are linked joint and several.
To maintain financial groups:
1. Select a financial category on the Summary view of the Financial tab, and click the Financial Group button.
2. Click Image in the financial group table to add a financial group, or click an existing financial group to modify it.
3. Complete the financial group fields displayed.
4. The following options are available.
Option Description
Save (ALT+S) Click to save the financial group.
Recalculate (ALT+R) Click to automatically generate any adjustment transaction needed as a result of modifications made to data on the financial group or the fees included in the financial group.
Adjustments to the interest begins, rate, compound type, accrued through, and fee code balance data enable the Recalculation button. A recalculation must be performed in order for the adjustments to post to the principal and interest.
When you click Recalculate, a warning is displayed. Click Yes (ALT+Y), and the financial group is saved and the Collection Till dialog box opens. If you have previously signed on to a till, the data is populated automatically.
