Odyssey Navigator
Odyssey Navigator is divided into four sections to assist the user. These sections are the Main Menu, the Left Panel, the Main Work Area, and the Command Legend. Odyssey Navigator also includes options to help you configure your environment and screen options.
 
Main Menu
The Main Menu is located at the top of the Odyssey workspace. The Main Menu is where you will find the items that were previously located in the scrolling left panel menu (i.e., the Navigation Menu) of the Odyssey Assistant. If you are unsure where to look for functions, the new Menu Search feature allows you to conduct a keyword search across all menu items, including former menu item names.
The menu options available are as follows:
•  Menu Search
•  Add
•  Find
•  Reports
•  Tools
•  Configure
Left Panel
The Left Panel is located on the left side of the Odyssey workspace. This section is used to manage the user’s favorites, assigned tasks, and jobs.
The Left Panel contains four tabs:
•  Favorites
•  Tasks
•  Jobs
•  Messages
Note: If you are working at a smaller resolution, the Left Panel is automatically minimized.
Main Work Area
The Main Work Area is located in the middle of Odyssey Navigator. This is your main workspace. The Main Work Area is where selected Odyssey Navigator functionality is displayed. For example, when you access a case record or report page, the page is displayed in this area along with the previously existing functions for that page, tab, or screen.
Note: When a user initially logs on to Odyssey Navigator, this area displays tutorial videos for each of the sections.
Command Legend
The Command Legend is located on the right side of Odyssey Navigator. This section displays individual tabs for all recently accessed areas of the Odyssey workspace. At the bottom of the Command Legend are the screen actions such as Save and Exit.
Additionally, when you select What’s New from the list of options on the Command Legend, the Main Work Area displays several Odyssey 2016 tutorial videos. These videos walk though the sections of the Odyssey Navigator screen, including the following:
•  Overview
•  Main Menu
•  Tasks
•  Jobs
•  Favorites
•  Command Legend
Odyssey Navigator Options
The icons displayed in the top-right corner of the Odyssey Navigator are used to configure your environment and screen options.
Option Description
Image / Image Click these icons to expand the Main Work Area to use the entire workspace or to minimize the Main Work Area to its default right panel location.
Image Click this icon to access Odyssey settings such as the following:
•  Preferences (including font size and menu memory functionality)
•  Set Location
•  Internet Properties
•  Version
Additionally, this button contains access to screen-sharing functionality and Help topics.
Image Click this icon to expand the Odyssey screen to full-screen view or to collapse it.
Image Click this icon to minimize Odyssey to the system tray.
This action will not close the program.
Image / Image Click these icons to minimize or maximize the Odyssey window size.
