When a payment, credit, charge reduction, or deposit is posted, it may not always be the full amount due. If posting a partial transaction, the Transaction Detail and Tender Detail are completed like they are when posting a full transaction. The only difference is that the Payment Amount to be Applied field is less than the balance. Odyssey provides the opportunity to manually select and distribute the payment to the associated fees. Manual distribution may not be used when making a full payment or a payment to a payment plan.
