Exhibit Codes
Exhibit codes include flags, status, types, and locations of exhibits.
Before configuring the code behaviors, you must complete the basic code setup, including the code description and the dates on which the code becomes effective and obsolete. After completing the static fields, you must then complete the fields specified on each individual code.

Exhibit Cross-Reference Numbers Indicates client specific numbers related to an exhibit such as weapon serial numbers.  
Exhibit Flags Indicates certain information about the exhibit, such as whether the exhibit is a controlled substance or is hazardous.  
Exhibit ID Format Indicates user-defined exhibit ID formats that will be system-generated when a new exhibit is added to a case. User-Defined Format – Select this option to program an exhibit ID number format. Click Image in the Format field to select a user-defined number format.
Use Program – Select this option to allow a system-generated exhibit ID.
Exhibit ID Pool Indicates the pool, or set, of ID numbers for building exhibit IDs. Different exhibit ID formats can use the same pool. Next Exhibit ID – Click Image to add or modify the number pool to use when generating the exhibit ID.
Exhibit Location Types Indicates the levels that identify the structure of the evidence storage facility (for example, vault, rack, box) Order # – Type the order number for this location type.
Required – Select this check box to indicate that this location type is a required field.
Exhibit Locations Indicates the location available for each location type. (for example, the type of vault may have Vaults 1,2,3 and 4). Exhibit Location Type – From the drop-down list, select the exhibit location type associated with this location.
Exhibit Status Indicates the possible statuses for an exhibit, such as offered or withdrawn. Base Exhibit Status – From the drop-down list, select the base exhibit status for the exhibit status code.
Exhibit Types Indicates the type of exhibit, such as a document or photograph. Exhibit Type Code Fields
