Warrant Codes
Warrant codes include the warrant number format, ID pools, statuses, and types.
Before configuring the code behaviors, you must complete the basic code setup, including the code description and the dates on which the code becomes effective and obsolete. After completing the static fields, you must then complete the fields specified on each individual code.
Code Description Additional Code Behaviors
Warrant Groups Indicates a grouping of warrant types Warrant Type – Click Image to select the warrant types to include in this group.
Do not allow active duplicates – Select this check box to prevent multiple active warrants in the same group.
Warrant Location Indicates the physical location of a warrant Confirmed – Select this check box if the warrant location has been confirmed.
Warrant Number Formats Indicates the combination of tokens and ID numbers to use when creating and assigning warrant numbers Format – Click Image to customize the number format.
In Use By Warrant Types – Warrant types that use this warrant number format are displayed in this section.
Warrant Number ID Pool Indicates the pool, or set, of ID numbers used for generating warrant numbers Number ID Pool Fields
Warrant Statuses Indicates the different status types available for warrants Warrant Status – From the drop-down list, select the warrant status to associate with this code.
Default Location – From the drop-down list, select the default location for this warrant status code.
Add Events – Click Image to select the events to add when this warrant status code is used.
Warrant Types Indicates the different warrant types Case Categories – Click Image to select the case categories in which this warrant type is available.
Default Initial Status – Select the initial status from the drop-down list.
Display Split Bond Information – Select this check box to display split bond information on this warrant type.
Conditionally Require Bond Type and Amount – Select this check box to conditionally require bond types and amounts for this warrant type.
Warrant # Format – From the drop-down list, select the warrant number format to use on this warrant type.
Warrant Token – From the drop-down list, select the warrant token to use on this warrant type.
Warrant # ID Pool – From the drop-down list, select the warrant number ID pool to use on this warrant type.
Time – From the drop-down list, select to make adding a time optional or required on this warrant type.
Warrant Witness Types Indicates the different warrant witness types.
