Warrant Witness Tab

The Witness tab of a warrant record allows the jurisdictions that issue warrants to indicate any witnesses along with a particular warrant, prior to the existence of a case.

You can search for and add parties under the Warrant tab and also link them to the warrant as witnesses. Please note, the ability to view the Witness tab is controlled by user-rights, as is the ability to add or modify witnesses for the warrant. Here you can add a witness, modify an existing witness relationship, access a witness's party record, or delete a witness.

Warrant Witness Table

The table on the Witness tab of a warrant record displays the witness’ name, address, and contact information. Select an existing witness to modify the witness’ party record. The following functions are available in this table:

Right-click Options

Right-click Option	Description
Add Witness	Select this right-click option when witnesses already exist on the record to add another witness.
Modify Witness Relationship	Select this right-click option to modify the witness relationship type.
Delete	Select this right-click option to delete the witness from the warrant record.
