Bond records can be added from several different areas within Odyssey. Any time a bond is added, it is linked to an existing party record. However, a bond is only linked to a case when it is added through the Bonds tab on a case.

If your office is only interested in how bonds impact the financial aspects of a case, a bond registry account can be added through the case Financial tab, without creating and maintaining a bond record. When a bond is added through the case Bonds tab, a bond registry account is automatically created on the case Financial tab.
