Unavailable Time Fields
Complete the following fields to maintain unavailable time on a resource schedule.

Field Name Field Description
Resource If there are multiple resources on the resource schedule, select the resource for which to schedule unavailable time. If there is only one resource on the resource schedule, this field displays that resource.
All Day Event Select this check box if the resource is going to be unavailable for the entire day. When you select this option, the Start Time and End Time fields are disabled, and the Color field is enabled.
Date Enter the date when the resource is unavailable.
Start Time Type the time when the resource will start being unavailable.
End Time Type the time when the resource will finish being unavailable.
Unavailability Select the type of unavailability here (e.g., appointment, meeting, vacation, holiday). These codes are maintained by your system administrator.
Description Type a brief description for the unavailability here. For example, if you choose Holiday for the availability, you might enter Thanksgiving here.
Color This drop-down list is enabled if you select All Day Event. the text on the resource schedule for the unavailable time is displayed in the color you select in this field.
Comment Type notes or comments related to the record. Click Image for additional space. Click Image to check the spelling of the text entered.
