Time Standards Code Fields
The following fields are available when maintaining time standards codes.
Code and Description
Field Name Field Description
Show This Code for Location Select this check box to enable the code for the selected location.
Code The code word you previously entered is displayed here, but you can enter a different code if needed. If you enter a code word that has already been assigned to another code, a warning message is displayed as codes must be unique.
Code words can contain numbers and uppercase or lowercase letters. You can also include periods, dashes, underscores, or parentheses. The word ALL cannot be included in the code word, regardless of case.
Description Type a description for the code.
Effective Information
Field Name Field Description
Mappings (ALT+M) If mapping is available for the code, click this link to map codes in Odyssey to state-specific codes.
Effective Date If the code should not become available until a later date, enter that date in this field.
Obsolete Date If the code ever becomes obsolete (meaning it is no longer used) or will become obsolete at some point in the future, enter an obsolete date.
The code is considered to be inactive when it reaches the obsolete date and remains obsolete until the date is removed or changed to a future date. When a code is made obsolete, it is no longer accessible to the users and cannot be selected.
Causing Action Details
Click Image in the Causing Action section to add a causing action to the code. The fields displayed to configure the causing action are dependant on the causing action type selected.
Field Name Field Description
Number of Days Type the number of days when the causing action should be triggered.
Unavailable Resources Select the unavailable resource.
Unavailable Reason Select the unavailable reason.
Avoid Weekends/Holidays Select this check box to avoid weekends and holidays.
Confirm Target Date Select this check box to required the user to confirm the target date.
Can Not Edit Target Date Select this check box to prevent the user from editing the target date.
When Party Is Between ...and ... Years of Age Select this check box and type the age range to confirm that the party linked to the case event is within a certain age range. If the party is not within the age range, the time standard will not be added.
If duplicate is closed Select the action to occur if the duplicate item is closed.
If duplicate is open Select the action to occur if the duplicate item is open.
Completing Action Details
Click Image in the Completing Action section to add a completing action to the code. The fields displayed to configure the completing action are dependant on the causing action type selected.
Field Name Field Description
If completing action applies to multiple Select the action to take when the completing action applies to multiple time standards:
•  Close/Increment All – If there are multiple open actions that can potentially be closed or incremented by adding this completing action, then close or increment all of the actions and time standards.
•  Close/Increment First Available – If there are multiple open actions that can potentially be closed or incremented by adding this completing action, only close or increment the first action added. Then, the next time this same completing action is added, it will close the next first available and so on.
•  Close/Increment Last Available – If there are multiple open actions that can potentially be closed or incremented by adding this completing action, only close or increment the last action added. Then, the next time this same completing action is added it will close the next last available and so on.
