Till Detail Fields
Complete the following fields to maintain a till instance.

| Opening Amount | Type the amount in the till when it was opened.
When reconciling tills in Odyssey, the opening cash amount is subtracted from the total cash counted before recording the Till Breakdown.

| Current Station | If the till is currently assigned to a station, that station is displayed here. You cannot make changes to the collection station here. | |||||||||
| Status | Displays the status of the till instance. The following statuses are available:

| Deposit Date | If the till is in a deposit but the deposit is not closed, this shows that the deposit is “in progress.” If the till is in a deposit and the deposit is closed, the deposit date and reference number are displayed here. | |||||||||
| Overage/ Shortage | If the till is over the transaction amount when reconciled, “Overage” is displayed with the amount. If the till is under the transaction amount, “Shortage” is displayed with the amount. If the till balances with the transaction amount, “Balanced” is displayed. | |||||||||
| Comment | Type notes or comments related to the record. Click  for additional space. Click  to check the spelling of the text entered.
