Rights Breakdown
When creating a role, you must select the rights that should be applied to the role. All the rights that can be applied to a role are grouped into categories and displayed on various tabs in the Rights Listing section on the role editor dialog box.
There are two basic types of rights: data protection rights and activities. Data protection refers to a user's ability to view, add, modify, and delete information. These rights can be granted or denied individually. For example, a user may have the right to view a certain piece of information but not delete it. Activity rights are used to indicate whether or not a specific function is allowed.
When you select a tab, all the rights in that category are displayed. Click Image and Image to view additional rights tabs or click Image to view a list of all the tabs, and select the one you want to view.
