Resubmit Georgia OBTS Records
You can resubmit entities that fail at validation. Failures in validation occur at either GCIC or at clerk authority. The records that have failed do not have Image (green) in the Sent? column on the Georgia OBTS Management Console page.
Resubmitting GCIC Fails
If GCIC fails validations on a records level, each individual record must be resubmitted. To mark an individual record to be resent, right-click the record and select Mark For Export.
The row of the record you are marking for export turns green and the Next Action column displays the last attempted action.
Resubmitting Clerk Authority Fails
When validation fails on a file level, all records in a file are rejected if the agency does not accept its content. To resubmit an entire file, you must first search by the specific file name to eliminate any records that have not been rejected from the search results.
Type the file name you want to resubmit in the File Export Name field in the search section, and click Search. Select the check box next to the files you want to resubmit. Right-click in the results section and select Mark All Selected For Export. All selected records now are marked for export, and they will be picked up by the next OBTS extract job.
Once the OBTS export has been rerun, the Last Action column displays ”Update,” and the Last Exported Date and Last Exported File columns have been updated. The Last Exported File column displays the file name that was last exported.
