A process server is the person, agency, or company that performs the delivery of the process. A process is a means (as a summons)
used to compel a defendant to appear in court..
There are two types of process servers: anticipated and actual.
The anticipated server information is completed when you add a service event and complete the details for it, or enter the
details later when entering the service tracking information.
The actual server is the person who served the papers, and the actual server information is only completed when working with
the service tracking details.
When entering service details, click

in the
Anticipated Server or
Actual Server column, and select the server. You can choose from local and non-local servers.
