Message Icons
The following icons are displayed in the status bar and message list area.
Message Icons
Icon Icon Description
Image Click the Product Message Alert button to view any product messages, as seen when there are data entry problems or there is data missing from the Odyssey page. When there is a system message, a note is displayed in the status bar. Click the button to collapse or expand the message list area.
Image Click the System Message Alert button to view issues within the Odyssey system, as seen when there is a development problem or when a job is completed. When there is a system message, a note is displayed in the status bar. Click the button to collapse or expand the message list area.
Image The Error icon is displayed for critical errors that must be corrected before saving. Data fields containing errors are listed in the message and highlighted in red in the user interface. When there is an error message available, the button in the status bar flashes and then changes to red Image.
Errors in Odyssey
Image The Warning icon is displayed for messages when an item requires a double-check before proceeding (e.g., backdating checks). The data fields are listed in the message and highlighted in green in the user interface. When there is a warning message available, the button in the status bar flashes and then changes to green Image.
Image The Information icon is displayed for messages where there is a special note available for a selected record (party, case) or a job has completed in the job processor. When there is an informational message available, the button in the status bar flashes and then changes to green Image.
