Judgments in a non-criminal case are added and maintained through the Disposition tab on the case record. Judgments can be
applied to one or many causes of action. Judgments can be added to multiple charges on a case or individually.
To add or modify a judgment:

Select the Dispositions tab. |
|
3. |
Click Judgment in the Disposition Detail header. Note: If no judgments have been entered for a case, the Add Judgment dialog box is displayed. If judgments have already been entered for some charges, the View Judgment dialog box is displayed. The charges without a judgment are listed at the top.
|
|
4. |
Click , and select one or more judgment components. |
|
5. |
Click Add. After selecting the components, additional fields are displayed for each judgment.
|
|
6. |
Complete the fields on the component. |
|
7. |
Click Continue (ALT+C). |
After a judgment is entered, you can modify or amend it as needed.
When a judgment is added or amended, a new record is added to the offense history. However, when a judgment is modified a
new offense history record is not created. Instead, the modified judgment information overwrites the existing offense history
record.
