Show Amounts/ Show Adjustments | There are two ways to view the adjustment amounts on the Enter an Adjustment on Case dialog box. Which of the following views you choose determines how the adjustment information should be entered:

Show Indirect Fees | Indirect fees are fees that were paid to a third party and are being recorded by the clerk but for which the clerk did not
receive any direct payment. Select this check box to show indirect fees. These fees are identified with ![]() |

Fee Schedule | This column displays a description and date of the fee schedules for the selected party. Click ![]() ![]() The schedules are sorted in ascending order based on the priority of the associated fee category. If there is more than one
fee category with the same priority, they are sorted alphabetically.
Within each fee category, fees are sorted ascending alphabetically based on the fee description.

Charges | This column shows the total of the charge transactions for the fee schedule. When you increase charges, the balance increases.
Charges cannot be adjusted below zero.
Right-click an adjusted fee and select Reset to restore that fee to its original amount.

Payments | This column shows the total of the payment transactions for the fee schedule. You cannot make changes to these amounts unless
you are signed on to a till.
When you increase payments, the balance decreases and escrow increases. Payments cannot be adjusted below zero.
Right-click an adjusted fee and select Reset to restore that fee to its original amount.

Credits | This column shows the total of the credit transactions for the fee schedule. When you increase credits, the balance decreases.

Balance | This column is equal to Charges minus Payments minus Credits. You cannot edit this column. | ||||||
Disb (disbursements) | This column displays the total of the disbursement transactions for the fee schedule or code. You cannot edit this column. | ||||||
Escrow | This column is equal to Payments minus Disbursements. You cannot edit this column. | ||||||
Current Adjustments | This line shows the relative change made during the adjustment. If no changes were made to a column, “None” is displayed here in black. If changes have been made but the net effect is zero, “0.00” is displayed. An increase to the column is displayed in green, while a decrease is displayed in red. | ||||||
Adjusted Totals | This line shows the adjusted fee total for all fee schedules (excluding indirect fees). | ||||||
Indirect Totals | This line shows the fee total for indirect fees only (i.e., those fees identified with ![]() |

Reason | Select a reason from the drop-down list. | ||||||
Comment | Type notes or comments related to the record. Click ![]() ![]() |

User | The current user logged in is displayed here. | ||||||
Station | This displays the station if the user is currently logged into a till. If the user is not currently logged into a till, this line is not displayed. | ||||||
Till | If you are currently logged on to a till, that till is displayed here. If not logged on to a till, this field is blank. Click
![]() Pause the mouse pointer on the till information to display a tooltip showing the cashier ID, if one exists, and a description
of the collection station.
