Export File Types

You can save export files as one of two file types.

File Type	Description
.txt	When you save the job output as a tab-delimited text (.txt) file, you can open the file in Microsoft Word or another word processor. You can also open these files in Excel, but you should specify how the data should be imported.
.csv	Select this file type to save the job output as a comma-separated values (.csv) file, which can be opened in Microsoft Excel or another spreadsheet program. This file type helps ensure that tab characters, line breaks, and other characters are interpreted correctly. database. Each line is one entry or record, and the fields are separated by commas. You may have to manually type the “.csv” extension at the end of the file name.
