Entering Courtroom Minutes
Minutes are produced following the hearing and must accurately reflect the actions of the hearing. Only the actions taken down during the hearing setting display in courtroom minutes. Courtroom minutes are saved with the hearing setting so that they can be viewed and edited along with that particular setting.
To enter courtroom minutes:
1. Access the Courtroom Minutes dialog box.
Option Description
From a court session
a. Access a calendar, and select a court session to view.
b. Right-click a setting and select Enter Minutes.
From a case
a. Access the hearing on a case.
b. Click Image beside the appropriate hearing setting.
2. Complete the courtroom minutes fields displayed.
3. Select one of the following options to complete the minutes entry.
Option Description
Save (ALT+S) Click to save the minutes.
Save/Copy (ALT+Y) Click to save the minutes and immediately access the Courtroom Minutes dialog box with the field information copied from the current minutes. Minutes cannot be copied when a sentence event includes a financial sentence component.
Forms (ALT+F) Click to select a form to print for the minutes.
If you are viewing the hearing on a case, Image changes to Image when minutes have been entered.
