Complete the following fields to process the Collection Agency Payment Interface job.
Collection Agency Payment Interface Job Fields
Field Name Field Description
Locations Click Image to select the locations that contain the data for the activity.
File Type Select the file type format the incoming file is in.
Incoming File Path Type the directory path where the incoming collections file is located.
Processed File Path Type the path where the processed collections file is stored.
Transaction Date Enter the date when the transaction is processed. A future date is not allowed.
Full Payment Actions
This section is used to indicate the actions that occur when a payment is received that reduces the amount due to a zero balance.

Add Case Event From the drop-down list, select the case event type that indicates an applicable event should occur to each case processed by this job.
Update Collection Status Click Image to indicate the collection statuses that should receive a completion date as a result of a full payment.
A case can have one or more of the indicated collection statuses. It does not need to have all indicated statuses.
Completion Date Enter the date when active collection statuses should be marked as completed.
Partial Payment Actions
Field Name Field Description
Add Case Event From the drop-down list, select the case event type that indicates the case or payment plan has received a partial payment of the outstanding balance owed.
Returned/Recalled Actions

Add Case Event From the drop-down list, select the case event type that indicates the case or payment plan has been returned or recalled from collections.
Closed or Rejected Referral Actions
This section lets you add a case event and to indicate a collection status to be updated with a completed date for case referrals in either the Closed Referral File or the Reject Referral File received from the collection agency.

Add Case Event From the drop-down list, select the case event type that indicates the case or payment plan has been closed or rejected from collections.
Update Collection Status Click Image to select the collection statuses that will receive a completion date to indicate they are no longer active.
Completion Date Enter the date when the completion date should be to add to the indicated collection status.
Referral Update Actions
This section lets you add a case event to an existing collection agency case referral, in addition to processing the party information updates indicated in the incoming file from the collection agency.

Add Case Event From the drop-down list, select the case event type that indicates the party address or Social Security number on the case or payment plan has been updated from collections.
Collection Agency Fee Category
This section is used to used to configure a fee category to be used in applying the agency fee amount to the case or payment plan.
Field Name Field Description
Credit Type From the drop-down list, select the payment type that indicates a collection agency fee is being credited.
Fee Category Click Image to select the fee categories that will contain the collection agency fee codes.
