Number Blocks

To add a number block, use the Add a Type Number ID Pool dialog box in conjunction with the Use Number Blocks option on the Modify Type Number ID Pool dialog box.

Case Number IDs

Field Name	Field Description
Starting Number	Type the starting number for the ID pool block.
Ending Number	Type the ending number for the ID pool block.
Next Service Number ID	Type the beginning number to use in a series of ID numbers.
Length	Type the length of the ID numbers allowed. For example, if the length is set at 4, and the next service number ID is 1, then the service number assigned will be 0001 for a total of four digits.

Effective Year

Field Name	Field Description
Effective Year	Type the year this ID pool is effective.
