Time Entry Format
When entering times, choose from several available delimiters to separate the hours and minutes. Type a single digit (e.g., 2) and Odyssey automatically enters the trailing double zeros (e.g., 2:00 p.m.). Type 0 for 12 a.m. (midnight) or 12 for 12 p.m. (noon).
Proper Time Formats
Assuming the time is 2:30, any of the following can be entered to specify the time.
Format Example
Colon 2:30
Period 2.30
Space 2 30
Dash 2–30
Underscore 2_30
Semi-colon 2;30
Comma 2,30
Forward Slash 2/30
Back Slash 2\30
Asterisk 2*30
Specifying AM or PM
Enter a or p to specify a.m. or p.m. when entering times. If a.m. or p.m. is not specified, Odyssey makes the following work-day assumptions:
•  Entering a time from 7 to 11:59 assumes a.m.
•  Entering a time from 12 to 6:59 assumes p.m.
Enter times in a 24-hour clock format and Odyssey automatically converts the time to a.m. or p.m.. For example, type 14:30 and Odyssey converts to 2:30 PM.
Assuming the time is 3 p.m., any of the following can be entered:
•  3
•  3p
•  3P
•  3:00p
•  3:00P
•  15
•  15:00
