TX Confinement Sentence Component Fields
The TX Confinement sentence component lets you add details such as term, jail credit, suspended time, and concurrent or consecutive
terms.

| Commence |
Click
 to select the date on which the sentence should begin.

| Term/Life/Death |
Select the option that best describes the sentence. IfTerm is selected, then complete the Years, Months, andDays fields with the term length.

| Type |
From the drop-down list, select the type of confinement.

| Agency |
From the drop-down list, select the location at which the confinement should take place.
|
| Jail Credit |
Select this check box if credit should be applied to the sentence for jail time served. Then, complete the Years, Months, andDays fields.

| Suspended |
Select this check box if some of the sentence is suspended. Then, complete the Years, Months, andDays fields.

| Concurrent with Prior Sentence |
Select this check box to indicate the term should be served concurrently with a prior sentence.

| Consecutive with Prior Sentence |
Select this check box to indicate the term should be served consecutively with a prior sentence.
