Single Code Selection
When entering information in Odyssey, you sometimes have the option to search for a specific code within a list of pre-determined codes. To access the dialog box where you can select a single code, press F4 when completing a field that is set up as a combo box.
The resulting Select Codes dialog box lists all the available codes. To select a code from the list, click the row that contains the correct description and code. To close the dialog box without selecting a code, click Exit (ALT+X).
The following options are also available on the code dialog box:
•  Next (ALT+N)/Back (ALT+B)
If all the codes cannot be displayed at one time, click Next (ALT+N) to go to the next page or Back (ALT+B) to go back to the previous page.
•  Filtering the List of Codes
To search for a specific code, enter a description or code at the top of the dialog box and click Search (ALT+S). The list of codes is filtered to show only codes with a matching description or code. After you have filtered the list of codes, click Get All Codes (ALT+G) to view all the available codes again.
•  Sorting Codes
From the Sort drop-down list, you can choose to sort the codes alphabetically by description or code.
•  Save My Settings
When selected, the Save My Settings check box records the search criteria entered into the Group, Source, and Sort fields. When the Select Codes dialog box is later accessed again, the search criteria fields are populated as initially selected.
