Scheduling Jobs
Schedule jobs that will automatically begin processing at a specified time. This is a common option with reports or table generations that have Schedule (ALT+H) displayed at the top of the page. This option is useful if the process will take a long time to process the job.
To schedule a job:
1. Schedule a job from one of the following areas in Odyssey.
Option Description
Parameters page Click Schedule (ALT+H) from a parameters page.
Job Schedule page Click Image on the Job Schedule page.
2. Enter the appropriate information in the job schedule entry fields displayed, or click Image in the Job Definition header to set a recurring job.
3. Click Save (ALT+S).
4. Some job tasks require the completion of additional fields. If additional fields are required, complete those fields and click Save or Finish.
5. Depending on how your system is set up, you may have the option to send an e-mail notification when the job completes.
When the appointed day and time of the schedule job arrives, view the Job Queue page to see the progress. After the job is complete, it is displayed on the Job History page.
