Phone Number Format
When entering phone numbers, you do not have to use punctuation. Simply enter the seven- or 10-digit number without dashes or other delimiters.
Entering Area Codes
If a default area code is set up for your system, that area code is automatically added to any seven-digit number entered. If the default area code is not set up, it will be required each time a phone number is added.
Do not type 1 in front of a long-distance number; simply enter the 10-digit number. However, for international dialing, type 011 and then the number.
Note: Odyssey does not provide for text to number conversion. For example, instead of entering 1800FLOWERS, type 8003569377.
