Party Codes
Party codes include information, such as marital status, education, employment, physical description, and language.
Before configuring the code behaviors, you must complete the basic code setup, including the code description and the dates on which the code becomes effective and obsolete. After completing the static fields, you must then complete the fields specified on each individual code.
Code Description Additional Code Behaviors
Appointed Attorney Configuration Defines pools, or wheels, for attorneys to be assigned to cases. Qualifications – Click Image to select qualification codes for the wheel.
Disqualifications – Click Image to select disqualification codes for the wheel.
Insert at Top After Reassign – Select this check box to put the attorney in the next position.
Count By Case Override – Select this check box override the count by case.
Attorney – Click Image to add attorneys to the wheel.
Reset – Click to reset the case count for each attorney on the attorney wheel.
Reorder – Click to change the order of the attorneys in the attorney wheel.
Attorney Appointment Rejection Reason Defines reasons an attorney could be rejected from an assignment.  
Attorney Disqualifications Defines reasons an attorney could be disqualified from an assignment.  
Attorney Qualifications Defines the qualifications for attorney assignment.  
Attorney Standings The status that describes the attorney's standing with the bar. Active – Select this check box to make a standing code to designate this attorney as active and, when used, the attorney is available for assignment.
Attorney Unavailability Reasons Defines reasons an attorney could be unavailable for an assignment.  
Caution Flags Defines caution flags available for a party, such as known weapons offender or disabled.  
Complexions Defines complexion descriptor codes.  
County County the party currently lives in or was born in.  
DL State Indicates which state issued a driver's license.  
DL Types Indicates driver's license type, such as commercial or motorcycle.  
Education Degrees Defines the types of degrees held by parties.  
Employment Statuses Defines employment status descriptors for the parties. Base Status of Unemployed – Select this check box if the employment status code should have a base status code of unemployed.
Group Types Defines groups with which parties may be associated. Description – Choose whether the group type is optional or required.
Relationship – Click Image to choose relationships that apply to the group.
Marital Statuses Defines marital status descriptors, such as divorced or married.  
Military Branches Defines military branch descriptors, such as Army or Navy.  
Military Discharges Defines military discharge descriptors, such as honorable.  
Name Type Defines name type designations, such as AKA or DBA.  
Natural Languages Defines languages used by parties and interpreters.  
Note Types Defines the types of notes that may be added to a party, case, or check, based on where the code is added in the organizational chart.  
Party and Case Affiliates Defines groups of parties that may be affiliated with a case, such as social workers. Parties – Click Image to search for parties to add to the affiliates group.
Party Associate Types Defines how a party may be associated with another party or the case, such as parent or guardian.  
Physical Builds Defines descriptors for physical build, such as lean.  
Physical Descriptors Defines other physical descriptors, such as short.  
Relationship Types Describes how a party is related to an affiliate group.  
Removal Reasons Defines reasons a party could be removed from a case.  
Salary Types Defines salary types.  
School Connections Defines connections between a school and a party.  
School Types Defines types of schools.  
Special Conditions Defines any special conditions to take into consideration for a party, such as walks with cane. Obsolete Date Required – Select this check box to require that an obsolete date is added when this special condition is added.
Suffix Types Defines name suffix types, such as Sr. or MD.  
ZIP Code Defines the ZIP code for an address. City – Type city corresponding to the ZIP code added.
State – From the drop-down list, select the state in which the ZIP code is found.
ZIP – Type the ZIP code.
