Oregon Sentencing Details Sentence Component
The following fields are available for the Oregon Sentencing Details sentence component.
Count Classification Fields
| Field Name | Field Description |
|---|---|
| Date | Enter the date when the item was recorded. |
| Decision Date | Enter the date when the decision was made. |
| Sentencing Guidelines | Select this check box to enter sentencing guidelines on the sentence. Selecting this check box enables the fields in the Sentence Guidelines and Departure sections. These sections are unavailable if the Sentence Guidelines check box is not selected. If the charge on the case is a felony, the check box is selected by default. |
| Non-Sentencing | Select this check box, then select either the Suspend Imposition or Suspend Execution check box to indicate the type of non-sentencing disposition. Selecting Non-Sentencing and Suspend Imposition makes the Sentence Guidelines,Departure, and Suspend Incarceration sections unavailable. Selecting Non-Sentencing and Suspend Execution makes the Suspend Execution section available. |
Sentence Guidelines Fields
| Field Name | Field Description |

| Crime Severity | Select the crime severity from the drop-down list. |
| Special Factors | Click  to select any special factors on the disposition.
|
| Criminal History | Select the criminal history from the drop-down list. |
| Other Factors | Type any comments related to other factors on the disposition. |
Departure Fields
| Field Name | Field Description |
|---|---|
| Departure | Select this check box to make the fields in the Departure section available. |
| Dispositional Departure | Select Up or Down from the drop-down list to indicate the dispositional departure. The selection made from this field determines the options available in the Reasons drop-down list. |
| Reasons | Click to select the reasons for the dispositional departure. Select the Each Sufficient check box if each reason is sufficient to justify the dispositional departure.

| Other Reasons | Type any other reasons for the departure. |
| Durational Departure | Select Up or Down from the drop-down list to indicate the durational departure. The selection made from this field determines the options available in the Reasons drop-down list. |
| Reasons | Click to select the reasons for the durational departure. Select the Each Sufficient check box if each reason is sufficient to justify the dispositional departure.

Suspend Incarceration Fields
| Field Name | Field Description |
|---|---|
| Duration | Type the duration in the Years, Months, and Days fields. |
| Suspended | Type the term of the sentence suspension in the Years, Months, and Days fields. |
| Agency | Select the agency from the drop-down list. |
