Offense Code General Tab Fields
Complete the following fields on the General tab to maintain offense codes. The options displayed may vary based on your system configuration and location.
System-wide Offense Code Behavior Fields
| Field Name | Field Description |

| Offense Group | From the drop-down list, select the offense group to associate with this offense code. |
| Statute | From the drop-down list, select the statute to associate with this offense code. |
| Source | From the drop-down list, select the source for this offense code. |
| Narrative | Type any narrative you want added to this offense code. |
| Reference ID | Type the reference ID for this offense code. |
| UCR Class | From the drop-down list, select the UCR class of the offense code. |
| Classification | From the drop-down list, select the classification of the offense code. |
| Statute of Limitations | Type the statute of limitations in the first field, and then select the occurrence from the drop-down list. |
| Official Description | Type the official description of the offense code. |
| Degrees | Type the degree codes to include in the activity. Separate each code with a comma or semicolon. Type All to include all available codes. Click  or press F4 to search for and select multiple codes.

| Default Degree | From the drop-down list, select the default degree to be applied when the offense code is added to a charge. |
| GOC | Use the drop-down menu to select the appropriate general offense code. Click the arrow to view a list of codes, or press F4 to find a code. |
