1. | Windows Menu Bar The Windows menu bar at the top of the window is part of the Odyssey Assistant shell and is always displayed when working
in Odyssey. The following options are available:
|
2. | Navigation Menu Located on the left side of the Odyssey Window, the navigation menu contains all the primary activities a user performs. If
necessary, use the up and down buttons to scroll through the available options.
Click to collapse the navigation menu and open up additional working space in the Odyssey window. Click to display the navigation menu again. This is especially useful when there are many data entry functions on the page (for
example, searches, party adds).
The options available are rights-based. Odyssey displays only those for which the user has the appropriate rights.
|
3. | Page Name The name of the page displays in the blue header beneath the Windows menu bar. The page name is also displayed at the top
of the Odyssey Assistant window.
|
4. | Home Menu Bar The menu bar, located below the title bar, provides links to specific areas of the product center (e.g., Cases, Parties, Warrants). The area selected determines the quick links available. This area is blank in some product centers.
The options available are rights based. Odyssey displays only those for which the user has the appropriate rights.
|
5. | Quick Links The quick links provide access to commonly used functions. If links are displayed in the home menu bar, the quick links available
depend on the function selected.
The options available are rights based. Odyssey displays only those for which the user has the appropriate rights.
|
6. | Working Space The working space is the main part of the Odyssey Window where all data entry occurs. This space changes to display the appropriate
information and data entry fields for selected functions.
What you see in your display is how the working space appears when first signing in to Odyssey.
|
7. | Message List Area The message list is displayed at the bottom of the Odyssey Assistant window (above the status bar). It is hidden unless you
choose to show it or there is an error or warning for the current page. In the status bar, click the Product Center Alert
button in the status bar () or the System Message Alert button () to collapse or expand the area. The message icons determine the type of message displayed.
|
8. | Status Bar The status bar displays the date, time, and message alert buttons.
