Multiple Code Selection
When entering information in Odyssey, sometimes there is an option to search for and select multiple codes within a list of pre-determined codes. To access the dialog box for selecting multiple codes, press the F4 function key or click Image when completing a multi-value code field.
The resulting Select Codes dialog box lists all the available codes. Select the check box beside each applicable code.
The following options are available on the code dialog box.
Option Description
Description Type the description for which to search. To search by a partial description, type an asterisk at the end (e.g., m*).
Code Type the code for which to search.
Show Selected Groups Only Select this check box to display only the selected codes. This option is automatically selected when you are modifying the selected codes.
Sort From this drop-down list, you can choose to sort the codes alphabetically by description or code.
Get All Groups (ALT+G) After the list has been filtered, click this button to view all the codes.
Select All / Clear All (ALT+L) Click Select All to select all of the codes displayed. When all codes are selected, this button changes to Clear All. Click Clear All to clear all the check boxes.
Back (ALT+B) / Next (ALT+N) If there are several pages of codes, click Next to go to the next page in the list or Back to go back to the previous page.
Search (ALT+S) Complete the Description or Code field and click this button to search for a specific code. The list is filtered to show only matching codes.
Continue (ALT+C) After you select the codes, click this button to return to the page or dialog box.
Exit (ALT+X) If you do not want to change the codes selected, click this button.
