The MN Monetary or Property Award judgment component allows you to add details related to a monetary judgment and/or property award judgment. This judgment component is available on civil and family case types.
MN Monetary or Property Award Judgment Component Fields
Field Name Field Description
Monetary Award/Property Award/Monetary Award and/or Property Award Select the type of judgment that was awarded.
Creditors Click Image to select the parties to whom the judgment was awarded.
Debtors Click Image to select the parties to whom the judgment was awarded.
Assignees Click Image search for the assignees.
Entered Enter the date when the judgment was entered.
Docketed Enter the date when the judgment was docketed.
Time Type the time the judgment was docketed.
Child Support Judgment Select this check box to indicate that this judgment component is based on a child support judgment. This affects the expiration date of the judgment. Monetary and property award judgment components ordered based on child support judgments do not expire for 20 years after the date the judgment was entered. Monetary and property award judgment components ordered that are not based on child support judgments expire 10 years after the judgment was entered. The OCMMNMonetaryPropertyAwardConfig feature drives the expiration date on this judgment.
Expires Enter the date when the judgment expires. Monetary and property award judgment components ordered based on child support judgments do not expire for 20 years after the date the judgment was entered. Monetary and property award judgment components ordered that are not based on child support judgments expire 10 years after the judgment was entered.
Inactive Enter the date when the judgment becomes inactive.
Reason Select the reason the judgment has been modified.
Satisfied This field is automatically populated with the date the judgment is satisfied.
Satisfaction Click this link to maintain satisfactions for this judgment.
Original Principal Type the principal amount of the judgment.
Current Principal Due This field updates based on the principal amount due.
Current Costs Due This field updates based on the current costs due. Click the Current Costs Due link to add incurred costs.
Current Interest Due This field updates based on the current interest amount due.
Current Balance Due This field calculates the current balance due from the amounts in the preceding fields.
Property Type Select the property type awarded in the judgment.
VIN If the property type was a vehicle, type the vehicle inspection number associated with the vehicle awarded.
Description Type any description related to the property awarded.
Interest Rate Type Select the interest rate type to apply to the judgment.
Print Transcript Click this link to print a transcript of the writ of execution.
