Interest Payment Fields
Complete the following fields when entering interest payments for registry investments.
Interest Payment Fields
| Field Name | Field Description |

| Type | Click the arrow to view the options and select Interest Payment. |
| Payment Date | Enter the date of the interest payment. |
| Interest Payment / New Balance | To enter the amount of the interest payment, select Interest Payment. Type the amount for the payment. The new balance for the investment account is automatically calculated.
To enter the new balance for the investment account, select New Balance. Type the amount for the new balance. The amount of the interest payment is automatically calculated.

| Accrued At | The current rate for the selected investment is automatically displayed, but you can change the rate if the interest accrued at a different rate. You can enter up to three decimal places. |
| New Rate | The current rate for the investment is automatically displayed. If the rate has changed since the last transaction, enter a new rate in the space provided. Enter up to three decimal places. |
| Comment | Type notes or comments related to the record. Click  for additional space. Click  to check the spelling of the text entered.
