To view the reports generated in Odyssey, Active Reports may have to be installed on the PC. If the system does not have this
program installed and you try to run a report, a message is displayed on the screen providing the opportunity to install the
program automatically. However, if the system is unable to install Active Reports, the Internet settings may need to be changed.
If your system is unable to install Active Reports, check the Internet properties as described below.
|
1. |
In the Odyssey menu bar, click Tools (ALT+T) and then Internet Options (press O). |
|
2. |
In the Internet Properties dialog box, click the Security tab. |
|
3. |
Click the Local Intranet icon, and click Custom Level at the bottom of the dialog box. |
|
4. |
When the Security Settings dialog box is displayed, look for the setting that says “Download signed ActiveX controls.” There are three options listed
below this setting: Disable, Enable, and Prompt. Make sure the Prompt option is selected. |
|
5. |
Click OK to save the setting and close the Security Settings dialog box. |
|
6. |
Click OK to close the Internet Properties dialog box. |
|
7. |
Close Internet Explorer and run your report again. |
When the option to install Active Reports is displayed, you should be able to install it automatically. If the Active Reports
error messages continue or if the instructions given above do not match the options on your screen, contact the System Administrator.
