Indirect Fees
Indirect fees are fees that should be recorded on the case as part of the total case costs for a party, but one the clerk does not receive money for them.
For example, a plaintiff may choose to have a private company serve a citation rather than paying the clerk to have the local government agency serve it. The clerk will not receive payment for the service, but she needs to record the payment as part of the final case costs. Indirect fees are designated by the Image icon.
