The IN Confinement Sentence Component lets you add details for a confinement sentence. Complete the following fields.

| Commence |
Click
 to select the date on which the confinement should commence.

| Term |
Select the confinement sentence length&emdash;Term (in years and days), Life, or Death.
|
| Type |
From the drop-down list, select the confinement type.
|
| Jail Credit |
Type the years and days of jail time credit to apply toward the confinement sentence.
|
| Suspended |
Type the years and days of suspended time to apply toward the confinement sentence.
|
| Concurrent with Prior Sentence |
Select this check box to select another case sentence with confinement time that should be run concurrently with this confinement.
Then, in the Case # field, type the case number with a sentence to run concurrently.

| Consecutive with Prior Sentence |
Select this check box to select another case sentence with confinement time that should be run consecutively with this confinement.
Then, in the Case # field, type the case number with a sentence to run consecutively.
