Case Protection Orders Tab
The Prot. Orders tab on a case record allows you to maintain any protection orders linked to a case.
Select the party whose protection orders you want to view from the Party drop-down list at the top of the page. The selected party is automatically used when you add or link a protection order to the case.
Case Protection Orders Tab Options
Option Description
Party From the drop-down list, select the case party for whom you want to view protection orders.
Show Deleted Items Select this check box to display protection orders that have been deleted.
Sort You can sort the protection orders by the following options:
•  Order Number
•  Issue Date
•  Reverse Issue Date
•  Expired Date
•  Reverse Expired Date
Protection Orders Section
The Protection Orders section displays all of the protection orders related to the case for the selected party including their issued and expiration dates. The protection order number, accused party, and minor child are listed for each order. Click Image to link a freestanding protection order to the case. Click Image to add a protection order.
Click Image or Image to the left of a protection order to expand or contract the information displayed.
Protection Orders Tab Links
The following links are available on protection orders.
Link Name Link Description
Protection Order Click this link to view the protection order.
Party Click this link to view the party associated with the protection order.
Right-click Options
Option Description
Delete Select this option to delete this protection order.
Copy Select this option to copy the details from the existing protection order to a new protection order. The following information is copied to a new protection order:
•  Party information for the respondent
•  Party information for the petitioner
•  Party information for the filing party
•  Party information for the protected parties
