CJIS Codes

CJIS codes include TRN block codes and ORI codes.

Before configuring the code behaviors, you must complete the basic code setup, including the code description and the dates on which the code becomes effective and obsolete. After completing the static fields, you must then complete the fields specified on each individual code.

Code	Description	Additional Code Behaviors
CJIS TRN Block	Indicates the CJIS TRN block.	Starting TRN – Type the numeric sequence to use for the starting TRN. Ending TRN – Type the numeric sequence to use for the ending TRN. Warning Threshold – Type the numeric value which, when reached, can trigger a warning that the numeric sequence is near the ending TRN value.
ORI Codes	Indicates possible ORI codes.	ORI Type – From the drop-down list, select the ORI type to associate with this ORI code. Custody Agency – Select this check box to indicate that this ORI is a custody agency. Description – Type a description of the custody agency.
