Bond Number ID Pool Code Fields
Bond Number ID Pool codes indicate the pool, or set, of ID numbers for building service ID numbers. Different service number formats can use the same service number pool. The following fields are displayed when configuring these codes.
 
System-Wide Code and Description Fields

Show this code for Location Select this check box to enable the code for the selected location.
Use for API only Select this check box to indicate that the code is only for use with an application program interface (API).
Code The code word you previously entered is displayed here, but you can enter a different code if needed. If you enter a code word that has already been assigned to another code, a warning message is displayed, as codes must be unique.
Code words can contain numbers and uppercase or lowercase letters. You can also include periods, dashes, underscores, and parentheses. The word ALL cannot be included in the code word, regardless of case.
Description Type a description for the code.
Mappings (ALT+M) This option is not available for all codes. If mapping is available for the code, click this link to map codes in Odyssey to state-specific codes.
System-Wide Type Number ID Pool Behavior
Field Name Field Description
Use Single Series Select this option to select the next case number for each case number ID pool you create.
Next Type Number If you select Use Single Series, click Image to select the pool series.
Use Number Blocks Select this option to assign case numbers from a block of numbers.
Warn the user when there are only n type numbers left If you select Use Number Blocks, you can alert users when only a certain amount of numbers remain. Type that amount in this field.

If you selected Use Number Blocks, click Image or an existing block to maintain number blocks.
In Use By Item Types
The In Use By Item Types shows you the specific case, bond, or exhibit types that this ID pool is associated with. If the selected ID pool has already been associated with a case, bond, or exhibit type, then those case types are displayed, and you can review the list to see which case types use the selected case/bond number format.
