Bank Code Fields
Bank codes indicate the banks with which the office does business. For instance, these banks might hold registry money or handle trust account investments. The following fields are displayed when configuring these codes.
System-Wide Code and Description Fields
Field Name Field Description
Show this code for Location Select this check box to enable the code for the selected location.
Use for API only Select this check box to indicate that the code is only for use with an application program interface (API).
Code The code word you previously entered is displayed here, but you can enter a different code if needed. If you enter a code word that has already been assigned to another code, a warning message is displayed, as codes must be unique.
Code words can contain numbers and uppercase or lowercase letters. You can also include periods, dashes, underscores, and parentheses. The word ALL cannot be included in the code word, regardless of case.
Description Type a description for the code.
Mappings (ALT+M) This option is not available for all codes. If mapping is available for the code, click this link to map codes in Odyssey to state-specific codes.
System-Wide Effective Information Fields
Field Name Field Description
Effective Date If the code is not available until a specific date, enter the date that the code becomes available.
Obsolete Date If the code becomes obsolete (meaning it is no longer used) or will become obsolete at some point in the future, enter an obsolete date.
The code is considered to be inactive when it reaches the obsolete date and remains obsolete until the date is removed or changed to a future date. When a code is made obsolete, it is no longer accessible to the users and cannot be selected.
Primary Contact
Field Name Field Description
Title Type the title of the primary contact.
First, Middle, Last Type the party's name.
Suffix Select a suffix.
E-mail Type the primary contact's e-mail address.
Comment Type notes or comments related to the record. Click Image for additional space. Click Image to check the spelling of the text entered.
Address
Field Name Field Description
Standard / Non-Standard Indicate the type of address you are entering by selecting the option that best describes the address.
•  Standard — If you are entering a standard address for a resident of the United States, select Standard U.S. and enter the following information.
•  Non-Standard — If you are entering a United States address that does not contain the standard address information (e.g., a P.O. Box only), select this option. Enter the address information in the three blank lines provided, and enter the city, state, and ZIP code as usual.
No. Type the street number of the person's address. If the street requires a pre-directional code (e.g., E Main St.), select the appropriate direction from the drop-down list.
St. Type the name of the street in the space provided. Then, select the appropriate street suffix (e.g., avenue) from the list. If a post-directional code is needed after the street name, select the correct direction code from the list.
Unit If you want to enter an apartment, suite, or building number, select the appropriate unit type from the list.
City Type the city name.
State Enter the appropriate state code. Click the arrow to view a list of codes, or press F4 to search for and select a single code.
ZIP Code Type the ZIP code.
Line 1–3 If you are entering a non-standard address, type the address information for the address lines.
Website Type the business website URL.
Phones

Work Type the business work phone number.
Ext Type the phone extension.
Fax Type the business fax number.
Ext Type the fax extension.
System-Wide Bank Investment Options
The System-wide Bank Investment Options section contains a table of all investment options available from this bank. Click Image or an existing entry to maintain the investment options.
Click Update As Of Dates to update the as of date for investment options to the current date.
