When selecting an attorney to appoint to a case, if an attorney on the attorney wheel has a conflict,

is displayed next to an attorney's name on the
Appoint An Attorney dialog box. Pause your mouse on

to view a tooltip that explains the reason for the attorney's unavailability.
Attorneys that are flagged as unavailable can still be appointed to a defendant, but a warning message is displayed. From
the warning dialog box, click Yes to proceed with the appointment or No to return to the attorney list.
Note: When adding an attorney from the Appoint Attorneys option on the navigation menu, the data typed into the Date and Time fields on the Appoint Attorney dialog box is used to determine availability conflicts.
