Appeal Parameter Fields
When maintaining appeals, complete the following fields to edit the parameters for the appeal record.
Volume Details
Field Name Field Description
Starting Volume #
Enter the volume that you want to be the first displayed on the appeals index.
# of Pages per Volume
Enter the number of pages that you want to be in each volume.
Allow a document to split across volumes
Select this check box to display part of a document in one volume and another part of the document in a separate volume.
Over Threshold
Enter the number of pages that you want a document to run over the number of pages specified in the # of  Pages per Volume field in order for the document not to be split into two separate volumes.
Appeals Index Details
Field Name Field Description
Form
ClickImage to select the form you want to use for the letters. Only the forms entered in the Appeal Forms category are available.
Sort Index By
Select "Title" from the drop-down list in this field to sort by title or select the "Date" option to sort by date. Use the second field to indicate if you want the list to be assorted ascending or descending.
Page Details
Field Name Field Description
Shrink image to allow for page # space
Select this check box to allow the document image to shrink in order to allow room for a page number to be displayed.
Include Page #
Select this option to include page numbers on the appeals record. Select the Include text with page # check box to include the text you enter in the Text field next to the page number in the appeal record.
Include Date
Select this check box to include the date that the appeals record was generated.
Include Time
Select this option to include the time that the appeals record was generated.
Placement
Select a location from the drop-down list in this field that you want the selected page detail information to appear on each page of the appeals record.
Font Size
Enter the font size for the selected page details information.
